Version 24.4
Released on 26.08.2024
N-1 Analysis
In the N-1 analysis, we made it possible to display multiple most vulnerable elements for each faulted branch. The number of most vulnerable elements (“worst cases”) is configurable in the calculation options.
Connection Requests
We added the Spanish rules in the Connection Request page so that the user can evaluate connection requests based on the Spanish regulation. The selection of international or Spanish rules is made in the calculation options.
Improvements
Project Overview
- The user can now move directly from the project overview to a specific calculation page by clicking on the three-dot icon on the right side of each grid.
Project Settings
- .Sim settings were included in global settings on the project overview page.
Grid Editor
- Any grid upgrades, connection requests and scenarios can be moved to another grid, even if they are locked.
- A grid can be copied to another project including the grid upgrades and connection requests defined on the grid.
- We changed the style and naming of move grid add-ons feature.
Grid Upgrade
- The Grid Upgrade report was updated to display the Grid Upgrade summary in a better way and to compare grid upgrade alternatives properly.
Scenarios
- When adding additional loads or generators in a Scenario, the user can now select the relative dispersion with respect to any type of load or generator.
Grid Data Updates
- Grid add-ons (i.e., grid upgrades and connection requests) are not split anymore. Instead, the user gets a message that a grid add-on would be split, and they can move it manually, if desired.
- We fixed moving of add-ons so that add-ons on outdated grids are preferably moved back into the current versions of outdated grids.
Static Calculations
We now visualize operational limit violations in the map on the Scaling Stress Test page.
When we run a Future Scenario Stress Test simulation for all grids, the inconsistent grids are ignored during the calculation and only results for the consistent grids are displayed.
.Sim
- When the .Sim options are opened, the add-ons with a default ON status are now pre-selected automatically.
.Mon
- The monitoring updates are now arranged more concisely in a tablular format.
Admin Panel
- The admin user can define the voltage ranges and their respective colors through the general options in the Admin Panel.
Other Improvements
- User logs are now sorted properly in Hosting capacity, Access capacity (Spain), Simulation and .Mon Dashboard.
Fixes
Grid Editor
We fixed a bug that caused the low resistance grounding of a transformer not to be saved correctly when editing in the Component Overview.
We fixed an error on the dropdown menu of load category in the Component Overview on the Grid Editor and Grid Upgrade pages.
We fixed a bug that caused the grids to disappear when opening a grid in a new tab from the project overview by clicking the grid link in the inspector.
We fixed a bug that caused the wrong name to be displayed when a grid was renamed.
We fixed an issue that caused erratic behavior when editing element GIS coordinates buses.
We now handle single- and two-phase line inconsistencies correctly.
We fixed a bug that caused the grid editor to show bogus elements from grid add-ons.
We fixed a bug that caused floating fuses and switches in the schematic grid view.
We made the colors inside the transformer stations deterministic.
We fixed the search in the "Move Add-Ons" dialog.
Grid Upgrades
- We fixed several bugs related to the tabular display of elements on the Grid Upgrade page.
Scenarios
- We fixed a bug in the Scenarios page, where the user could not add a reactive power characteristic to existing load, when no grid was selected.
Grid Data Updates
- We fixed an error in the “inherit from neighboring nodes” mitigation strategy.
Connection Requests
We fixed a bug that prevented the terminal bus selection in D-A-CH-CZ and VDE-AR-N pages to show the selected bus when loading the page, and when changing the terminal bus directly on the map or in the grid inspector.
We now do not jump automatically to the terminal bus of a D-A-CH-CZ or VDE AR-N connection request upon selection.
In the D-A-CH-CZ rules, we now ensure that the symmetrical apparent power of the device cannot be higher than the rated apparent power.
We fixed a bug that prevented the selection of an assignee before a new connection request was saved.
We fixed disconnected and re-connecting connection requests.
Static Calculations
We fixed a bug that grid elements of selected add-ons could not be found in the search.
We fixed a bug that caused the reactive power to be rendered incorrectly on the Power Flow page under certain circumstances.
We fixed a bug causing faulty display of current angles for lines on the Power Flow page.
We fixed a problem that caused future stress test results to not be loaded correctly for individual grids.
We fixed a bug that caused the holistic future scenario stress test results to always have zero values for the 0% penetration case.
We now prevent the deletion of a future scenario result, as long as its calculation is running.
We fixed canceling of future scenario calculations.
We fixed a problem leading to an error message when clicking "Show Details" in Protection Calculation results table.
We fixed the status icon for evaluated buses on the Protection Calculation page.
.Sim
- We fixed a bug that caused simulation scenario results not to be deleted from the database, though the corresponding grid was deleted.
.Mon
We fixed a bug where the automatically chosen algorithm in .Mon was throwing an error due to heavily meshed topology. Another algorithm is now selected for such grids so that the simulation can run without issues.
We fixed a bug on the sorting function in .Mon of project overview.
We fixed a bug in .Mon, where violation coloring in Grid Viewer only updates automatically if a specified time horizon has violations. Otherwise it only updated upon interaction with the map.
Other Bugs
- We fixed a bug that led to the 'Examples' package being empty on new Adaptricity instances.
