Reliability ​

This section allows users to define reliability assumptions for grid elements and specify which types of outages should be considered in reliability simulations. Reliability project settings

Assumed Reliability for Undefined Elements ​

Use the dropdown menus to assign default reliability levels to grid elements that lack specific reliability data:

  • Line
  • BusBar
  • Connection
  • Generator
  • Transformer
  • Switch

Each element can be set to predefined reliability profiles (e.g., "Ideal").

Outages to Consider ​

Select which types of outages should be included in the simulation:

  • Independent stochastic outage, short
  • Maintenance interruption, short
  • Manual disconnection, delayed
  • Independent stochastic outage, long
  • Determined outage, long
  • Manual disconnection, immediate
  • Determined outage, short
  • Maintenance interruption, long

These settings help simulate realistic grid behavior and assess system reliability under various failure scenarios.
