Protection

This section allows users to configure parameters related to protection calculation that are valid throughout the project.

INFO

The calculation options defined on the Protection page fall back to this configuration when the page is left or reloaded.

Evaluate

Define which evaluations should be computed in the protection calculation.

• Switch-off Times: Enable evaluation of how quickly protective devices (e.g., fuses) disconnect during faults.
• Stability: Enable evaluation of short circuit stability of cables and lines.

Fuse Curve

Choose whether to use the minimum or maximum characteristic curve of fuses for calculating switch-off times. This affects how conservatively the protection behavior is modeled.
