N-1

This section allows users to define thresholds and parameters for N-1 contingency analysis, helping assess grid stability when one component fails. N-1 project settings

Configurable Parameters:

  • Number of Worst Cases: Specify how many worst-case scenarios to evaluate.
  • Undervoltage Threshold: Minimum acceptable voltage level (e.g., 0.9 pu).
  • Overvoltage Threshold: Maximum acceptable voltage level (e.g., 1.1 pu).
  • Line Loading Limit: Maximum allowed line loading percentage (e.g., 110%).
  • Transformer Loading Limit: Maximum allowed transformer loading (e.g., 120%).
  • Fuse Loading Limit: Maximum allowed fuse loading (e.g., 100%).

Additional Option:

  • Merge Segments: Enable this checkbox to merge line segments during analysis.

These settings help simulate and evaluate grid performance under single-element failure conditions.
