N-1
This section allows users to define thresholds and parameters for N-1 contingency analysis, helping assess grid stability when one component fails.
Configurable Parameters:
- Number of Worst Cases: Specify how many worst-case scenarios to evaluate.
- Undervoltage Threshold: Minimum acceptable voltage level (e.g., 0.9 pu).
- Overvoltage Threshold: Maximum acceptable voltage level (e.g., 1.1 pu).
- Line Loading Limit: Maximum allowed line loading percentage (e.g., 110%).
- Transformer Loading Limit: Maximum allowed transformer loading (e.g., 120%).
- Fuse Loading Limit: Maximum allowed fuse loading (e.g., 100%).
Additional Option:
- Merge Segments: Enable this checkbox to merge line segments during analysis.
These settings help simulate and evaluate grid performance under single-element failure conditions.
