Simulation
Time Series Behavior
Loads and generators have a property "Time Series Behavior" in the grid model, where one can configure how these devices shall be considered in time series simulations. Alternatively, one can define a Time Series Behavior in the Simulations settings, that is considered when no behavior was defined in the grid model.
Ignore
The device is ignored in the simulation.
Reference Profile
The device is considered by scaling a reference profile with the device's power or annual energy. If both energy and power are defined, energy is preferred!
Standard Profile
The device is considered by using one of the BDEW standard profiles, popular in Germany.
Model
The device is considered by using a model developed by Adaptricity that simulates the state of the device over time based on the device's power and/or annual energy and some assumptions regarding the typical usage patterns of these devices. This results in a power profile over time that is used in the simulation.
Metered
The device is considered using a smart meter measurement, the field "Meter ID" in the grid model and the data integration endpoints must be configured in the data integration profile settings must be configured for this behavior to work correctly.
Masked
The device is ignored, because its power is already considered by another device that has a smart meter (which measures the summed consumption of multiple devices including the one in question).
