Connection Request
This section allows users to define how connection requests are evaluated and processed within the grid system.
Voltage Levels and Evaluation
- Voltage Levels: Choose which voltage levels to consider (e.g., all levels or only the highest).
- Evaluation Distance: Set the interval for evaluating lines (e.g., every 50 meters).
Load and Generation Considerations
- Shift Operating Point: Optionally adjust the operating point based on existing loads.
- Consider Existing Generators: Include current generation in the evaluation.
Violation Handling
- Ignore Existing Violations: Set a tolerance level (e.g., 0%) for ignoring pre-existing grid violations.
- Bus Voltage Change: Define the maximum allowed voltage change (e.g., 3%).
Thresholds for Grid Violations
Enable and configure limits for:
- Undervoltage (e.g., min 0.9 pu)
- Overvoltage (e.g., max 1.1 pu)
- Line Loading (e.g., max 110%)
- Transformer Loading (e.g., max 120%)
- Fuse Loading (e.g., max 100%)
Connection Request Format and Rules
- Connection Request ID Format: Customize using text and placeholders (e.g.,
).
- Connection Type: Choose connection behavior (e.g., Lossless Connection).
- Rule Set: Select applicable rule set (e.g., International) and optionally check voltage violations in sibling grids.
- Power Factor (cos φ): Set the assumed power factor (e.g., 1 capacitive).
Archiving
- Automatically archive connection requests when finalized.
- Optionally archive only if the requested capacity exceeds a threshold (e.g., > 0 MW).
